The Member of Parliament for the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency, Hon. Frank Yeboah, has called on Ghanaians to use Valentine’s Day as an opportunity to promote peace, unity, and national cohesion.
In a goodwill message to mark the annual celebration, Hon. Yeboah emphasised that Valentine’s Day should transcend romantic expressions and serve as a reminder of the collective responsibility to foster harmony and mutual respect within communities and across the nation.
According to the legislator, love remains one of the strongest foundations for building a peaceful and progressive society. He urged citizens to demonstrate kindness, tolerance, and compassion not only to their loved ones but also to neighbours, colleagues, and the less privileged.

“Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love in its broadest sense. As a nation, we must allow the spirit of love to guide our actions, strengthen our unity, and deepen our commitment to peaceful coexistence,” he stated.
Hon. Yeboah particularly encouraged young people to celebrate responsibly and uphold moral values, stressing that responsible behaviour reflects respect for oneself and for society at large. He noted that national development thrives in an atmosphere of stability, understanding, and shared purpose.
The MP further indicated that beyond the festivities, Ghanaians should embrace the deeper meaning of the day by engaging in acts of charity, forgiveness, and reconciliation. He added that strengthening social bonds at the community level ultimately contributes to national progress.

Reaffirming his commitment to serving his constituents diligently, Hon. Frank Yeboah wished all Ghanaians a peaceful, joyful, and meaningful Valentine’s Day, expressing hope that the spirit of love will continue to inspire unity and cohesion throughout the year.
