Tetrefu Technical Institute Marks SRC Week with Urgent Call for Government Infrastructure Support

Tetrefu Technical Institute has celebrated its Students’ Representative Council (SRC) Week with a strong appeal to the government and key stakeholders to provide urgent infrastructural support to improve teaching and learning at the institution.

During the celebration, Mr. Philip Boamah, Acting Vice Principal of Tetrefu Technical Institute, spoke to the media and highlighted the pressing infrastructural challenges confronting the school. He explained that insufficient classrooms, workshops, and learning facilities continue to impede the academic progress of students and affect the overall quality of technical education offered at the institute.

Mr. Boamah called on the government, development partners, corporate organizations, and alumni to intervene promptly. He emphasized that investing in the infrastructure of Tetrefu Technical Institute would not only enhance the learning environment but also contribute to the development of skilled professionals who can support national growth.

Echoing the vice principal’s sentiments, the SRC President of Tetrefu Technical Institute Faisal Mohammed also appealed to authorities and stakeholders to prioritize the school’s infrastructural needs. He noted that students are eager to excel academically, but inadequate facilities limit their ability to fully engage in practical and theoretical learning.

The SRC Week celebration, which featured activities aimed at promoting leadership, unity, and student development, provided an ideal platform for highlighting these challenges. Organizers expressed hope that the attention drawn during the celebrations would lead to meaningful support for the institute.

Management and students alike remain optimistic that the appeal will resonate with government bodies and stakeholders, paving the way for improved infrastructure that will foster a conducive learning environment for current and future students.
