In a bold and spiritually charged message that has set tongues wagging across Ghana’s religious community, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Amagashi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, Apostle Dr. Samuel Amagashi, has declared that any man whose penis is not functioning properly will not enter the Kingdom of God unless he seeks healing and restoration.

Speaking passionately during a special sermon and media interaction as part of his spiritual enlightenment series, Apostle Dr. Amagashi stressed that manhood is not just a biological feature but a divine instrument through which God’s purpose for creation is fulfilled. According to him, when a man’s sexual organ fails to function, it signifies a spiritual disconnection that must be addressed both physically and spiritually. “No man whose penis does not work will enter heaven. God created man whole — spirit, soul, and body — and that includes his manhood. When your manhood is not working, you are incomplete in fulfilling the divine purpose of creation. Such a man must seek healing before he can be right with God,” Apostle Dr. Amagashi declared firmly.
The Apostle explained that sexual intimacy in marriage is not a sin but a sacred act that represents unity and divine partnership between man and woman. He noted that the Bible’s description of Adam and Eve’s experience in the Garden of Eden has long been misunderstood, emphasizing that the “fruit” they ate was not a literal apple, but a symbolic reference to sexual intercourse.
He said many Christians and preachers misinterpret the Scriptures by reading them literally rather than spiritually. “The Bible never said Adam and Eve ate an apple. It said they ate of the fruit, and their eyes were opened, and they realized they were naked. That means they had sexual knowledge. It was a proverb, not a story about eating food,” he explained.
Apostle Dr. Amagashi further criticized modern-day pastors and Bible teachers for lacking spiritual depth in interpreting the Word of God. He noted that the failure of many preachers to dig deeper into the hidden mysteries of Scripture has led to confusion and ignorance among their followers. “Many pastors today preach what they don’t understand. They interpret spiritual truths in physical terms and end up misleading the church. The Bible is full of symbols and parables that require divine revelation, not human logic,” he said.
The renowned herbal and spiritual healer also used the platform to advise men, especially those struggling with weak or non-functioning manhood, to seek proper medical or herbal treatment. He emphasized that a man’s ability to perform his conjugal duties is not just a matter of pleasure but an act of obedience to God’s design for marriage and procreation. “Every man needs a thick, strong, and working manhood to satisfy his wife and maintain harmony in the home. God’s plan for man and woman is unity through intimacy, and when a man fails in that aspect, he must seek help before it becomes a curse,” Apostle Dr. Amagashi warned.
He reiterated that his message was not meant to ridicule or shame men with sexual dysfunctions but rather to awaken them to seek divine and natural restoration. “If your manhood is not functioning, it doesn’t mean your life is over — it means you need to restore what God gave you. Seek treatment, pray, and be whole again,” he urged.
Apostle Dr. Amagashi also used the occasion to clear long-standing misconceptions about his teachings, emphasizing that his approach combines both spiritual wisdom and herbal science to promote holistic healing. He said his ministry is dedicated to helping people discover the connection between physical health and spiritual well-being.
He concluded by calling on men of God, theologians, and Christian leaders to go beyond the surface reading of the Bible and study its deeper spiritual meanings. “We need men of understanding, not just preachers with titles. The Word of God is full of mysteries, and until we understand them, we cannot lead people into truth,” he added.
Apostle Dr. Samuel Amagashi’s statement has since generated widespread discussion across social media and church platforms, with many describing his message as controversial yet thought-provoking. While some religious commentators have questioned the literal link between manhood and salvation, others believe his teaching reflects a deeper interpretation of the relationship between spiritual and physical wholeness in the Christian faith.
