Muslim Youth Urged to Shun Tramadol – Alhaji Musah Osman

Alhaji Musah Osman, the 2020 parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Manso Nkwanta constituency, has strongly urged Muslim youth across the country to stay away from drug abuse, particularly the misuse of tramadol.

Speaking in a media interview, Alhaji Osman expressed deep concern about the growing trend of substance abuse among the youth in Zongo communities. He called on young Muslims to protect their future by avoiding harmful drugs that endanger their health and well-being.

“I want to appeal to our Muslim youth—please stay away from tramadol and all forms of drug abuse. This is a dangerous path that only leads to destruction. Let’s build a future of hope and responsibility,” he stated.

He also issued a stern warning to certain individuals within the Muslim community who are reportedly involved in the sale of tramadol.

“There are some Alhajis and Hajias in our Zongo communities who are selling tramadol. I want to tell them to stop immediately. This behavior is destroying our youth, and it is completely unacceptable,” Alhaji Osman said.

Alhaji Osman went on to commend President John Dramani Mahama for his leadership and the stabilization of the Ghanaian cedi under his administration. He highlighted that such economic measures are crucial for easing the financial burden on Ghanaians.

“I commend President John Dramani Mahama for the steps taken to stabilize the cedi. It’s time for all of us—especially traders—to support this effort by reducing the prices of items we sell to bring some relief to the people,” he urged.
