Holy Grace Foundation Marks Mother’s Day with Food, Worship, and Love at Aunty Mary Orphanage in Offinso
In a touching display of compassion and faith, the Holy Grace Foundation commemorated this year’s Mother’s Day with a special outreach to the Aunty Mary Orphanage Home, located near the Offinso Toll Booth. The foundation, led by its President, Rev. Mrs. Helena Fosu Appiah, shared breakfast, prayer, and the word of God with the children at the home, bringing joy and renewed hope to the young hearts.
The event formed part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to supporting the vulnerable and marginalized in society, particularly orphans and deprived communities. The team not only donated essential food items and toiletries but also spent quality time interacting with the children through worship sessions, songs, and dancing.
Speaking to the media during the outreach, Rev. Mrs. Fosu Appiah highlighted the importance of translating Christian values into practical action.
“Christian faith goes beyond attending Sunday services; it involves living out the teachings of Christ—visiting orphans, comforting the brokenhearted, and supporting the needy,” she stated.
She called on philanthropists, corporate bodies, religious institutions, and individuals to turn their attention to orphans and other vulnerable groups in society.
“These children may be facing adversity today, but with love and consistent support, they can grow into future leaders and change-makers for Ghana,” she added.
The Principal of the Aunty Mary Orphanage Home expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Holy Grace Foundation for their timely and selfless gesture.
“The love and care shown today are deeply appreciated. It means a lot to the children to feel seen and cherished, especially on a day that celebrates motherhood,” the principal remarked.
Rev. Mrs. Fosu Appiah also reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to ongoing evangelism and aid work in rural and underserved communities across the country.
“Our mission is not just about giving physical aid but also about offering hope and spiritual renewal through the word of God. We believe every life we touch draws us closer to the purpose of Christ,” she said.
She concluded by inviting the public to partner with the Foundation in expanding its outreach programs.
