Praise Chamber International Church Officially Launches 50th Anniversary Celebration in Kumasi

Praise Chamber International Church at Amakom Lobito, Kumasi, has officially launched its 50th anniversary celebrations with a strong call for women’s empowerment, youth discipline, and national development.
The colorful ceremony, held at the church premises, brought together members, invited guests, and dignitaries to mark the beginning of a year-long celebration.
In her keynote address, Lady Bishop Florence Konadu Tawiah, General Overseer of the church, emphasized the important role women play in building strong families and communities. She urged women to work hard, remain humble, and prioritize the education of their children.
“Women are the pillars of every society. Through hard work, humility, and ensuring quality education for our children, we can build a better future for our families and nation,” Lady Bishop Tawiah said.
She further called on the youth to stay away from drugs and negative influences that threaten their future prospects. “Our youth must avoid the temptation of drugs. It only leads to destruction and wasted potential,” she warned.
Highlighting future plans, Lady Bishop Tawiah revealed that the church intends to establish a farm project to support its operations and promote self-sustainability.
The launch marks the beginning of a series of activities lined up throughout the year to commemorate the church’s fifty years of impactful ministry, community development, and spiritual growth.
Guest Speaker, Apostle Ebenezer Ohene Adasi, General Overseer of Royal Chapel Church at Tafo Nhyiaeso, congratulated Lady Bishop Tawiah and the entire congregation for their resilience over the decades.
“Inheriting a ministry and nurturing it through to a 50-year milestone is no small achievement. It speaks of dedication, sacrifice, and divine favor,” Apostle Adasi commended.
Apostle Adasi also took the opportunity to advocate for a national development plan in Ghana that transcends political party manifestos. He lamented how successive governments often abandon state projects started by their predecessors, leading to wasted resources and stalled national progress.
“Our nation needs a 50-year development plan that all political parties must follow, regardless of who is in power. We must think beyond party colors and focus on Ghana’s future,” he emphasized.
He further cautioned the youth against substance abuse and the negative use of social media, encouraging them to develop positive attitudes that would contribute to their personal success and the nation’s development.
The official launch of Praise Chamber International’s 50th Anniversary set an inspiring tone for the celebrations ahead, with church leaders promising a year of reflection, empowerment, and impactful service to humanity.
