National Identification Authority (NIA) Expands Premium Registration Services to Five additional Regions, Relocates the Premium Centre at the Head Office at Shiashie.
The National Identification Authority (NIA) also announce the extension of its premium services to the five additional regions, effective 5th May 2025 for Ghanaians seeking expedited registration services.Consequently, the premium registration centre at the NIA Head Office at Shiashie will be relocated to the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), Legon City Campus – GA-076-0326.
The Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), Legon City Campus and the CalBank premium centres will from 5th May 2025 serve applicants only on appointment basis.
Therefore, applicants who wish to access any of their premium services which includes First-Time Registration, Card Replacement and Personal Information Update Services at any of the above listed premium centres must register and book an appointment via register.nia.gov.gh. All other premium centres nationwide will offer walk-in service.

The NIA urges all eligible applicants within the designated regions to take advantage of the premium service for fast and convenient issuance of the Ghana Card.
