A Ghanaian Gosple musician based in UK and founder of Mame Serwaa ministry Mame Serwaa, has advised the young generation in the country to stay away from drug abuse, alcohol, smoking and other social vices which ends them in prisons custody.
She expressed shocked about the rate Ghanaian youth form higher percentage of prison inmates in various prisons who have enthusiasm to support the economy with workforce through manpower development.
She made passionate appealed to parents and guidances to pay attention their children’s career to help prevent them from joining bad groups.
Mame Serwaa was speaking to Newsmen when her ministry presented sanitary pads, toothpastes, books, makers, pens and other valuable items to kumasi female prisons.
Received the items on behalf of the inmates, Samuel Aseidu Septendent of prisons expressed gratitude to her and appealed to the government to build a new prisons to relocate the inmates to enable them get spacious capacity.
