Power Specialist Herbal Hospital CEO Educates Nursing Mothers on Proper Baby Diapering

The Chief Executive Officer of Power Specialist Herbal Hospital, Oheneyere Dr. Akosua Adu Ayaa, has educated nursing mothers on the correct way to use baby diapers to ensure the health and comfort of their children.

During an engagement session on Monday, Dr. Adu Ayaa highlighted the dangers of using undersized diapers, explaining that they can exert unnecessary pressure on a baby’s waist, potentially leading to discomfort and developmental issues. She urged mothers to always select the right diaper size to prevent such problems.

“It is not advisable for nursing mothers to use small diapers on their babies, especially for children who are not small in size. This can affect their waist and cause discomfort,” she advised.

She further emphasized the importance of providing proper care for children, stressing that they are the nation’s future leaders. According to her, parents and caregivers must be intentional about raising healthy and well-trained children who will contribute positively to society.

“Our children are our future, and we must nurture them with care and attention. Beyond their physical well-being, we must also instill in them good values to help them become responsible leaders tomorrow,” she said.

Nursing mothers who attended the session expressed appreciation for the valuable knowledge shared. They acknowledged that many were unaware of the risks associated with improper diaper use and promised to adopt better practices to safeguard their children’s health.

Dr. Akosua Adu Ayaa and the Power Specialist Herbal Hospital continue to champion maternal and child health through community education and holistic healthcare solutions, reaffirming their commitment to the well-being of mothers and children in Ghana.
