Nahinso Aduana Royal Family Holds Chief Responsible for Disappearance of 74-Year-Old Family Head

The Nahinso Aduana Royal family in the Asokwa Municipality of the Ashanti Region is calling for justice and accountability following the mysterious disappearance of their 74-year-old family head, Opanin Yaw Obiri Kyei. The family has accused the local Chief, Nana Addo Boaman, of being complicit in the elder’s disappearance after an intense dispute between them.

At a press conference held by the family, spokesperson Wofa Atta Frimpong revealed that the elder vanished shortly after a disagreement with the Chief two months ago. According to him, what began as a family issue escalated when Nana Addo Boaman allegedly threatened to “teach the family head a lesson.”

“Opanin Yaw Obiri Kyei returned home to Abuakwa Taabere after the altercation, but witnesses reported that later that night, at around 11:00 p.m., the Chief and his bodyguards visited his residence. Since then, no one has seen or heard from our family head,” Wofa Atta Frimpong stated.

The family expressed their frustration, saying that all efforts to get answers from Nana Addo Boaman have been ignored, deepening suspicions of foul play. They are urging the police and local authorities to immediately investigate the matter and help locate the missing elder.

“We believe Nana Addo Boaman has vital information about what happened to our family head, and we demand that he works with law enforcement to bring clarity to this issue,” the spokesperson added.

During the press conference, several women from the royal family emotionally appealed to the Chief to disclose any information he has about the whereabouts of the elder. They described their growing fears for his safety and called for swift intervention.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the Nahinso community, leaving many residents unsettled. Concerns are mounting about how such an unresolved matter could impact trust and peace within the area.

The Nahinso Aduana Royal family has vowed to pursue every legal avenue to ensure justice for their family head and accountability from those involved. They stressed the need for transparency in resolving the issue to restore harmony in the community.

As the search for Opanin Yaw Obiri Kyei continues, the family is urging law enforcement to act with urgency and diligence, promising not to rest until the elder is found and justice is served.
