The Ghana Post Company Limited has re-opened its Railway Post Office in Kumasi, earlier this month.
The Post Office ceased to operate due to a fully loaded DAF vehicle with registration number GT 327-23 running into it on July 6, 2023.
As a result of the extensive damages caused to it, operations of the post ceased, to enable the company to assess the damages as well as plan for its renovation without further delay in order to serve its clients in the area.
The refurbished Post Office, which boasts of ultra-modern technology to facilitate the need of customers as well as offering Business Mail Service, MoneyGram Money Transfer, EMS Ghana Expedited Mail Service, Ria Money Transfer, Western Union Money Transfer and Parcel Service.

Mr. Kwabana Duodu, Post Master disclosed that the post office is going to serve communitiies like Asafo market Zongo police station and it’s environs fante New town Asokwa Adum Nsuase and the central market. END.
