Rev. Amo Sounds Warning to Gov’t Appointees: Shun Corruption, Prioritize Ghana’s Development

Rev. Joseph Amo, founder and leader of the Hem of His Garment Global Chapel, has advised government appointees in the Mahama Administration to prioritize Ghana’s development over personal interests and eschew corruption.

Speaking at Kwame Awuah Nimfour of Opemsuo Radio at the Manhyia Palace, Rev. Amo urged politicians to be mindful of their actions and consider the nation’s well-being first.

Rev. Amo, who is also aspiring for the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) mayor position, emphasized the importance of clergy participation in partisan politics to combat corruption and contribute to Ghana’s democracy and development.

He encouraged fellow reverend ministers, pastors, and men of God to enter politics, citing his own aspiration for the KMA mayor position as an example.

Rev. Amo expressed his commitment to restoring Kumasi’s former glory, working tirelessly to ensure the city’s development if elected as mayor.

End.
