The construction of the Takorase Kindergarten (KG) Block and an ultra-modern toilet facility is progressing steadily in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region. The project is set to provide improved infrastructure for early childhood education and better sanitation for the Takorase community.
During a recent visit to the construction site, Hon. Dominic Bonsu, the Assembly Member for the Takorase Electoral Area, spoke with the media about the ongoing work. He expressed optimism that the completion of the new KG block would significantly enhance the learning experience for children in the area.
“The completion of the Takorase KG Block is crucial for ensuring that our children have access to quality education in a conducive environment,” Hon. Bonsu stated. “A good learning environment helps children focus better and improves their educational outcomes.”
Hon. Bonsu also appealed to the government, philanthropists, and other stakeholders to assist in completing the project. “I call on the government and other benevolent organizations to support us in finishing this important project. The children of Takorase deserve modern facilities to aid in their development and future success,” he added.
The new KG block is designed to accommodate the growing number of young learners in the area, while the addition of the modern toilet facility will address sanitation concerns at the school, ensuring a healthier environment for both students and staff.
The community is hopeful that the successful completion of the project will contribute to the educational advancement of Takorase and serve as a model for other communities in the district.
