A heartwarming act of generosity took place on Saturday when well-known contractor Kofi Job and his wife, Dr. Esther Gyebi, presented a GH¢20,000 donation to 16-year-old Maybel Nyarko, a talented but financially struggling Senior High School (SHS) student. The emotional moment unfolded at OTEC FM, where the couple expressed their strong commitment to supporting young, bright minds in their community.
Maybel, a passionate Home Economics student, had previously received financial help from Kofi Job and Dr. Gyebi when she first enrolled in SHS. Their support enabled her to purchase the necessary items for her schooling. To show her gratitude, Maybel baked and presented her first practical cake to the couple, a touching gesture that inspired the couple’s latest donation.
“Maybel’s gesture of baking us her first practical cake really touched us,” said Kofi Job. “It’s rare to see such appreciation, and we felt it was important to recognize her kindness with this donation. We hope it helps her continue her studies without the burden of financial difficulties.”
