NAPO’s Wife Promises a Better Future for Persons with Disabilities Under NPP

Mrs. Alma Nana Pokuaa Abena Adade Prempeh, wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has assured persons with disabilities (PWDs) of a brighter and more inclusive future under the next NPP administration.

Addressing members of the Ghana Federation of Disabilities in the Ashanti Region, Mrs. Prempeh emphasized the NPP’s commitment to the welfare of marginalized groups. She reaffirmed the party’s focus on creating a society that values inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.

She pledged to advocate for initiatives tailored to the unique needs of PWDs, including vocational training, financial empowerment, and the provision of accessible infrastructure. “The NPP has consistently championed policies that uplift vulnerable groups, and we remain committed to this cause. With your support, we will implement innovative programs to ensure a brighter future for all,” she said.

Mrs. Prempeh encouraged PWDs to support the NPP’s vision by voting massively for the party in the upcoming December 2024 general elections. She stressed that the realization of the NPP’s policies for the disabled community would depend on their continued trust and collaboration.

The interaction saw members of the Ghana Federation of Disabilities expressing optimism about the NPP’s plans. They highlighted challenges such as limited job opportunities, inaccessible public infrastructure, and inadequate financial support. Mrs. Prempeh assured them that the next NPP administration would prioritize addressing these concerns.

This engagement forms part of Mrs. Prempeh’s efforts to connect with special interest groups and share the NPP’s vision of inclusivity and development as the party intensifies its campaign ahead of the 2024 elections.
