WASSA AMENFI EAST MP RESHAPES ANLOGA-MOSEASO ROADS

The Wassa Amenfi East NDC constituency communication’s officer in the Western Region, Mr. Thomas Dindiego has said, the MP for the area, hon. Nicholas Amankwah is determined to ensure that major road network within his constituency are upgraded by the end of his first term.

According to Thomas Dindiego, the location of Wassa Amenfi East Constituency is strategic and roads in the communities must be given urgent attention to bring relief to residents and other roads users.

This, he said, the member of parliament for Amenfi East, hon Nicholas Amankwah a.k.a Home Boy has commenced the rehabilitation of some deplorable roads within the municipal capital, Wassa Akropong and has assured that, all roads within communities in the Amenfi East Constituency will soon be given a facelift.

Hon. Nicholas Amankwah on Sunday stormed the Anloga-Moseaso road to witness the heartbreaking situation at hand and helped in smoothing and reshaping the road.

Some commercial drivers carrying foodstuffs and passengers last weekend were bathed with mud as their vehicles got stuck on Anloga road stretch in the Amenfi East municipal due to the bad nature of their roads.

Reacting to the poor nature of Anloga- Moseaso road on New Day FM morning show on Monday, 6th September hosted by Kaakyire Kwasi Afari, Thomas Dendiego lamented the delay in the release of the MP’s Common Fund to carryout projects.

According to the NDC constituency communication officer, the delay has left many members of the 8th parliament handicapped including the Amenfi East MP, Nicholas Amankwah but, the MP is determined to use his little resources available to initiate projects to the benefits of his constituents.

The communication officer has expressed his disappointment in the New Patriotic Party’s administration for abandoning all schools and road projects started under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration.

He said, construction works on some town roads in Amenfi East were awarded to contract and expected to be completed in 2016 under Nicholas Amankwah the then DCE now the MP, but has delayed till date after the NPP took over the administration.
