Lawyer Baffour Awuah Tours Manhyia South Churches, Rallies Support for Dr. Bawumia and NPP

Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Manhyia South, is ramping up his campaign efforts with only weeks left until Ghana’s general elections on December 7, 2024. On Sunday, November 10, 2024, Lawyer Baffour Awuah, along with his campaign team, embarked on a strategic tour of churches in the Manhyia South constituency, appealing directly to congregants for their support.

The tour included visits to the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Freeman Methodist Church, Presbyterian Church, and House of Faith in key neighborhoods such as Doctor Mensah, Ashtown, and Mbrom. Lawyer Baffour Awuah took the opportunity at each church to encourage hundreds of congregants to support the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as well as his own parliamentary bid for Manhyia South.

Addressing the congregants, Lawyer Baffour Awuah emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s and the NPP’s commitment to development and good governance, citing their track record in social interventions, job creation, infrastructure development, and accountability. “Our party has always put the needs of the people first, and we have delivered on our promises. Dr. Bawumia is the right leader to steer this nation forward, given his competence and credibility,” Lawyer Baffour Awuah stated.

He highlighted that Dr. Bawumia’s vision to transform Ghana is realistic and within reach, pointing to his track record in office and his dedication to Ghana’s growth. “Dr. Bawumia’s message is one of hope, innovation, and progress for Ghana, and together, we can bring this vision to life,” he added, encouraging the congregants to vote massively for NPP on election day.

The parliamentary candidate further assured the congregants of his commitment to addressing local needs within the Manhyia South constituency if given the opportunity to serve in Parliament. “Together with Dr. Bawumia, we will work to ensure a better future for all Ghanaians by promoting policies that uplift communities, improve education, create jobs, and enhance local infrastructure,” he stated.

At each stop, Lawyer Baffour Awuah and his team were warmly received by the congregants, who expressed appreciation for his visit. Some congregants took the opportunity to share their concerns and hopes for their community with him, while others offered prayers for both Dr. Bawumia and Lawyer Baffour Awuah’s success in the elections.

In response, the congregants expressed a strong sense of support, promising to cast their votes in favor of Lawyer Baffour Awuah and the NPP on December 7. Many also offered prayers for peace and stability during the election season, a sentiment echoed by Lawyer Baffour Awuah, who assured them of the NPP’s commitment to maintaining unity and harmony in Ghana.

Lawyer Baffour Awuah’s church tour highlights his commitment to engaging directly with the people of Manhyia South and reinforces his pledge to continue working toward their welfare. As election day draws near, the NPP candidate is determined to connect with as many constituents as possible, underscoring the party’s focus on grassroots engagement to secure victory for both the parliamentary and presidential races in Manhyia South.
