Adomako Boateng Hayford Donates 2,500 Exercise Books, Pens, and Mathematical Sets to Nyaboo M/A JHS Students

In a significant gesture to improve education in Nyaboo, located in the Asante Akim Central Municipality of the Ashanti Region, businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Adomako Boateng Hayford, popularly known as Gafacci, has donated essential learning materials to Nyaboo M/A Junior High School (JHS). The donation included 2,500 exercise books, 2,500 pens, and 500 mathematical sets, which were distributed to 500 students.

The donation is aimed at supporting the students in their academic pursuits and easing the financial burden on parents, who often struggle to provide their children with necessary school supplies. Mr. Adomako, a member of the Friends of AFIABA, explained that this contribution will enable the students to concentrate on their studies without worrying about how to obtain basic learning tools.

“This will help the students focus on their books and reduce the pressure of thinking about how to get all these materials,” Mr. Adomako stated during the donation ceremony.

As a strong advocate for education, Mr. Adomako emphasized its pivotal role in national development. According to him, education is a key tool for empowering the youth, offering them opportunities to contribute to the country’s growth, create jobs, and ultimately transform society. “Education is the most important source of empowerment, providing opportunities to the youth to help drive Ghana’s development,” he said.

Mr. Adomako also took the opportunity to encourage the students to remain focused on their education and avoid distractions that could derail their academic success. He urged them to remain disciplined and determined in order to access tertiary education, which he believes will open doors for them to achieve their dreams and contribute meaningfully to society.

“Stick to your books, learn hard, and work towards accessing higher education,” Mr. Adomako advised the students. “Build a foundation for your own life, your family, your community, and this dear country of ours.”

In his closing remarks, Mr. Adomako made a heartfelt appeal to the school authorities, urging them to treat the students with care and provide them with the necessary support and guidance. He implored the teachers and administrators to see the students as their own children, ensuring that they receive the nurturing environment needed for academic excellence.

Mr. Adomako’s generous gesture has been met with widespread appreciation in the Nyaboo community. Many hope that this act of kindness will inspire other individuals and organizations to come forward and contribute to improving education and infrastructure in the region.

With education playing such a vital role in shaping the future of Ghana, Mr. Adomako’s donation stands as a beacon of hope for both the students and the broader Nyaboo community.
