Okofrbour Dr Obeng Nuakoh III, Dunkwahene has Embark on a Health walk and Free Health screening exercise for the people of Dunkwa-on- offin towards the Celebration of his 70th birthday to enable them know their health status and reminds them of the need to seek early treatment.
Some of the diseases screened were typoid Malaria sexual transmitted diseases ( STP) Sugar levels, High Blood Pressure, Hepatitis (B) and eye diseases
According to him, the health screening exercise was the first of it’s kind and participated by officers from the Immigration service, Fire service, Ghana Ambulance and the Police service with the Dunkwa community
Nana Okofrobour disclosed that on the September 26, 2024 the history of Dunkwa would be told with the celebration of his 70th birthday starting with a Mass at the St, Anthony of Padu Anglican Church at Dunkwa,
He said he would use the occasion to visit the Denkyirahemaa at Abankesieso,
Touching on the brief history of
Okofrobour also called for unity to ensure political stability before during and after the December general elections, since political unity and stability of the country was very important for development.
In a related development, the Chief also set September 28th 2024 to Commission the rehabilitated Dunkwa palace, says before the commencement of the Commissioning, there would be a communal labour with a clean up exercise and football gala on the September 27, 2024 before the official launching with Health walk ,Free Health screening and blood donation at Aboabo, Oforikrom ,Subinso, Canary Road, Sofokrom and Accra town.
