Residents of Shiare and Kyilliga in the Nkwanta South Municipal are calling on government as a matter of urgency to provide them with some social amenities like Health center, Network service , good roads among others
In an interview with Mr Joshua Donkor a Youth leader lamenter bitterly about how the government is not helping them to get their share of the national cake.
He again said the road from Nkwanta to Kyilliga is a boarder road and they are the bread basket of the municipality, food items like plantain, banana, bitter cola cocoa yam, local spices are generated from these communities hence the contractor has aburden the road.they therefore took onto themselves the road from Shiare to Kyilliga using Man- power.
Mr Joshua added again that communication has being a problem of the day on them which makes it impossible for them to speak or hear from family members, teachers living at Kyilliga do not even have access to electricity and portable water.
He therefore appeal to the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Tourism Board, Nkwanta south Assembly and other stakeholders to come and development the waterfalls at Shiare community which will bring employment and also generate income to the Nkwanta south municipality as a whole.
