The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the Tamale South Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Fuseini Musah, has officially filed his nomination forms to contest in the upcoming December 7, 2024, Parliamentary elections. The submission took place at the Electoral Commission’s Metro office, Vittin Estate, Tamale.
Hon. Alhaji Fuseini Musah, a well-respected and industrious figure within the NPP, was accompanied by a large and enthusiastic group of party officials and supporters. Among those present were the Constituency Executives, members of the Council of Elders, Party Patrons, former Parliamentary candidate aspirants, former Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling Station Executives, and members of his Campaign Team, along with other loyal party members who came to demonstrate their strong support.
The nomination forms were successfully submitted at exactly 3:30 PM, with the Electoral Commission staff at the Metro office overseeing the process. Following the successful filing, Hon. Alhaji Fuseini Musah expressed his profound gratitude to his supporters, noting that their unwavering backing has been a great source of encouragement. He shared his excitement and optimism, urging everyone to continue their support as they head into the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
In an address after the filing, former Parliamentary candidate aspirants who were present voiced their full support for Hon. Fuseini Musah’s candidacy, calling on the entire NPP family to unite and work towards victory. They emphasized the importance of a vigorous campaign to ensure that the NPP not only wins the Parliamentary seat in Tamale South but also secures victory in the Presidential election with H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s flagbearer.
The Constituency Chairman also encouraged all members to remain dedicated and passionate in their efforts, stressing that unity and hard work are key to ensuring success for both Hon. Fuseini Musah and Dr. Bawumia in the December elections. He appealed to party members to remain focused and committed to the collective goal of winning the Tamale South seat and supporting the party’s vision for national development.
The event was marked by an atmosphere of excitement and optimism as the powerful delegation of supporters first gathered at the campaign office located at the CMB building, opposite Radio Justice. From there, they marched together to the Electoral Commission’s office at Vittin Estate, where the nomination forms were officially received and processed by the Commission’s officials.
As the December 7 elections approach, the NPP and Hon. Alhaji Fuseini Musah’s team are gearing up for an intense campaign aimed at securing victory in Tamale South, a constituency seen as crucial for the party’s broader electoral success. The candidate’s team is confident that with continued hard work and unity, success is within reach.
