Amenfiman Rural Bank has officially launched its MSME Donkomi Promo at a ceremony held in Kumasi. This initiative is designed to support and empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the region.

The launch event featured speeches from key bank officials and local business leaders, who emphasized the importance of supporting local enterprises to drive economic development. The promo is expected to offer significant relief and opportunities for MSMEs facing challenges in accessing financial resources.
Dr. Alexander Asmah, CEO of Amenfiman Rural Bank PLC, spoke to the media about the bank’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship through this initiative. He highlighted studies that recognize women for their strong financial management skills, noting that women often excel in managing business and financial services.
Dr. Asmah called for greater inclusion of women in business management, asserting that women achieve significant results when given leadership roles and should be empowered. Nana Kwame Nyame, Ashanti Regional Vice President of the Ghana Union Traders Association (GUTA), also underscored the importance of empowering women in the business sector.
