Hundreds of polling station members from the Odotobri Constituency branch of the largest opposition Party (NDC ) have undergone a training to enhance their proficiency in delivering quality electoral services.
The programme, which was held at the
Nana Adu Darko Community Center Jacobu was also geared towards building their capacity and sensitising them to efficient organisational and internal structural systems of the party.
It was also to bring the executives together to learn and brainstorm measures and frameworks to help the NDC win power via the 2024 general election.
The event was to equip participants with the requisite skills and knowledge in election monitoring, observation, campaigning and related activities ahead of the 2024 General Election.
The Parliamentary candidate-elect of the Odotobri Constituency, Emmanuel Obeng Agyemang popularly known as (Pedro) appealed to all supporters to unite and work together for the party’s victory in 2024. elections was crucial to the NDC as “Ghanaians are looking forward to the party to restore hope and dignity to the suffering masses and we cannot afford to disappoint them.”
Chairman of the NDC,Mr Bobin noted that the party was built on grassroots participation.
He said that activists at the wards and branches were very important for the party, and there was the need to equip them with the requisite training and tools to monitor the upcoming elections.
He called on all the ward executives to be committed and dedicated to the party, as the NDC thrived on commitment and sacrifice.
He urged the participants to put the knowledge acquired at the workshop into practice, towards the party’s victory in 2024.
Also present at the training workshop, was National women organiser for the greatest opposition NDC party Dr Louisa Hanna Bisiw
Speaking to media used the opportunity to appeal Ghanaians especially people in the Ashanti region to give NDC government and their Aspiring Parliamentary candidate for Odotobri just four years term to witness dramatic changes in the country.
She emphasized on the disappointment of the NPP government to the people of Ashanti region hence the need to change their voting pattern this coming December 7 general elections to witness the best administration.

added that
the 24-hour economy plan will empower the youth and propel them to economic freedom. The plan will create and sustain jobs for the younger generation and everyone in Ghana.
In his part, the former District Chief Executive for Amansie central district,Hon Emmanuel Dede Appiah, expressed worry about how the NPP government has failed the people of Odotorbiri constituency for abandoned all Cocoa road projects started by NDC government.

He said this NPP government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and Alhaji Bawumia has nothing new to offer for this country.
Essence of training
Mr John Ankra, constituency Youth organizer said the significance of the initiative was to empower the executive to be resilient, and educate them on the intricacies of the positions they held.
He added that the programme would empower the participants to send appropriate information and messages to the various polling stations in the constituency.
“There is a dire need for this training programme because our polling station executives are the basic structures of the party, since they are mandated to determine the fate of the party and its successes,” he remarked.
The initiative, he added, would equip the participants to help in vote canvassing and consolidation, thereby helping the party to amass more votes to win the 2024 general election.
He observed that the training had helped to equip the participants with the concepts and ideologies of the party, and this they would use to serve the partyat its various polling stations.
Most of the polling station executive members who spoke to the media at the programme thanked the constituency Youth organizer for the enterprise, and pledged their unflinching support to facilitate the party’s position to come out victorious in the 2024 general election.
