Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo: A Divine Calling to Serve Amasaman Constiuency Beyond Politics

Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo passionately believes he’s on a divine mission to advocate for the Amasaman constituency in parliament, driven by a profound conviction that his purpose is to uplift humanity.

My name is Bishop Samuel Kwame Denoo, and I believe I am called by God to represent the Amasaman constituency in parliament. I feel there is much that I can do to help humanity in this role.

In our current political system, political parties select their candidates through presidential primaries, where party members vote for their preferred candidate. There are allegations that parliamentary MPs have received around 6.5 billion for their campaigns, and some constituents receive money from party leaders in private to help secure votes.

This system results in MPs being beholden to their party rather than to their constituents. I believe that that we need a change in this system. God has shown me that African politics can be improved by voting for independent candidates, who will not be bound by party interests and can speak the truth.

I propose the “skirt and blouse” voting strategy, where the president will not have a majority in parliament, leading to the formation of an independent coalition. This will enable more balanced discussions and decision-making in parliament, rather than the majority simply supporting the president’s decisions.

I envision a future where Amasaman constituency will receive the attention it deserves, with developments such as better roads, job creation, and the promotion of sports. Amasaman has great potential, and with proper development, it can become a leading constituency in Ghana.

I am committed to supporting market women, promoting technology, and ensuring well-constructed roads for the people of Amasaman.
