The NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tamale South Constituency, Alhaji Fuseini Musah today Wednesday, May 8, 2024, handed over the completed Chanshegu dam to the venerable Chief and the good people in the Fooshegu Electoral Area.
At a short ceremony at the dam site, Alhaji Fuseini Musah was accompanied by the Constituency Chairman, the women’s Organizer, the Constituency communication officer, the campaign Team members, and other Party faithful for the handing over of the dam.
Alhaji Fuseini Musah underscores the need for collective and collaborative support from the people and states clearly how water plays an enormous role in our day-to-day activities, especially during the dry season in far-to-reach communities with varied steps being taken to tackle these challenges.
The revered Chief of Chanshegu and his subjects, opinion leaders were there to witness the handing-over ceremony of the dam which serves the people of Chanshegu and Dohini respectively.
The venerable Chief expressed his heartwarming appreciation and gratitude for the great intervention by the workaholic Alhaji Fuseini Musah who has shown extraordinary leadership in the dredging of Dams across the Constituency.
The Chairman of the Constituency, Chief Alhassan Yussif Mozeli also added his voice and encouraged the good people to give their unflinching support to Alhaji Fuseini Musah to carry out the good initiatives he started in the Constituency.
The women in the two communities, in conclusion, conveyed their joy and excitement for such intervention which came at the right time before the rains set in. The women’s Organizer for NPP also had a fruitful deliberation with the women and called on them to rally behind the competent Alhaji Fuseini Musah to win the Tamale South Constituency seat.
