PRAY FOR CONTINUOUS PEACE AND PROSPERITY OF OUR CONSTITUENCY – AMENFI EAST MP URGES MUSLIMS.

The member of parliament for Wassa Amenfi East constituency, Hon. Nicholas Amankwah a.k.a Home Boy has urged Muslims in his constituency to remember Amenfi East in prayers as they finally climax the annual, month-long Ramadan fast.

Hon. Nicholas Amankwah during his presentation to the Muslims community in Amenfi East, he urged Muslims to use the blessings received from the Eid-ul-Adha to pray for the prosperity of Amenfi East and Ghana at large.

He made this remarks on Thursday, July, 22, when he presented 5 Cows to be killed and distributed to Muslims and non-Muslims in the municipal capital, Wassa Akropong and other communities in the area.

According to the MP, the donation was his modest contribution to support the Eid-ul-Adha celebration in Amenfi East by the Muslims to demonstrate love, fellow feeling and sacrifice for the work of Allah.

The MP urged Muslims to emulate and sacrifice what they have, not only to the glory of Allah, but to support Allah’s work at all levels.

The lawmaker also called for peace, tranquility, which he described as a tool for nation building, and urged all to ensure a violence free future that the people in Amenfi East would be proud of.

He said there was the need for Muslims to be steadfast, fear Allah and obey His commandments and love one and another.

Home Boy in his handing over address to the Muslim leaders, he revealed to New Day FM News that programs to improve Zongo Communities in Wassa Amenfi East in the Offing.

The member of parliament announced that he would soon start projects to improve on the lives of the people including those living in Zongo communities.
