The leadership of Sepe Buokrom Central Assembly of the Church of Pentecost presents chairs and toiletries to SepeBuokrom Health Center
The Church of Pentecost, Sepe Buokrom Central Assembly in the Manhyia North constituency of the Ashanti Region has donated chairs and toiletries to Sepe Buokrom Health Center to augment health care delivery in the community.
The items presented to the health facility include three sets of three-in-one brand new metal chairs and toilet rolls worth GHC 3,600
The church made the presentation on Saturday, 29 February 2020 after a cleaned-up exercise was held to tidy some principal streets of the community in fulfilment of the church’s “ Environmental Care Campaign ” launched in 2018 which aimed at complementing government’s efforts to improve sanitation as well as transform every sphere of society with Godly principles and values.
The leadership of the church also commissioned an ultra modern bus terminal valued three thousand Ghana cedis (ghs3000) to support local transport service.
The District Pastor, Frederick Sarfo said the gesture forms part of the church’s social responsibility, and underscored the need for every church to give assistance to societies where they operate.
According to Pastor Fredrick, the church must give back the needed resources to society as part of its quest in propagating the gospel worldwide.
In his view, government alone cannot curb environmental degradation resulted from human activities.
He, therefore, advocated for behavioural change among the citizenry.
