The Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency who is also the Deputy Defense Minister , Hon. Kofi Amankwaa Manu has donated 11 motor bikes to 10 police stations in his constituency.
The gesture by the legislator is to support the activities of the police in various ways towards effective policing duties.
The presentation was made on Saturday 17th July 2021 during a brief ceremony at the police station.
He was accompanied by the chiefs, constituency party executives and supporters of the New patriotic party.
Speaking to media in an interview,the MP Hon Kofi Amankwaa Manu said it was his personal contribution to the effective and efficient running of the station towards providing the much needed security for the communities in the area.
He urged the constituents and all Ghanaians to volunteer timely information to aid the work of Ghana police service to enable them to fight crime effectively.
Supritendent oddei Quansah who received the motorbikes thanked the MP for the donation,and hoped other individuals and corporate bodies would emulate the gesture
He promised to used the motorbikes to fight crime in the area.
