The Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) Prof Peter Twumasi, on Wednesday picked nomination forms to contest the Ahafo Ano south west constituency parliamentary seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.
Prof. Twumasi assured that he would change the face of the district.
According to him, the development of the constituency is his priority and promised to represent their interest in parliament if given the mandate to lead them.
The Constituency Chairman, Mr.
Edward Kofi Achampong Brobey has confirmed that Prof. Twumasi has since duly submitted the forms.
After picking the forms, Prof. Twumasi cut the sod for the construction of a modern ultramodern AstroTurf facility at Mankranso.
Present at the sod-cutting ceremony were the Chiefs of Mankranso, the DCE Hon Frimpong Bonsu, and other dignitaries.
