Mp for Bosome Freho Donates to Atobiase D/A Primary School

Bosome Freho constituency in the Ashanti Region is one of the most challenged constituencies in terms developmental projects. From this background, the member of parliament, Akwasi Darko Boateng has assured constituents the needed developmental projects for the area. He believes that both human and physical development will help lift the image of the constituency.

The member of parliament for Bosome Freho constituency, Hon. Akwasi Darko Boateng on Monday donated a set of classroom tables and chairs with dual desks to Atobiase D/A Primary School.

He donated 30 tables and chairs to the kindergarten with dual desks for the lower primary to the above mentioned school and assured the rest of the communities theirs in the coming days. He mentioned, this is the beginning of the lots to be shared to selected schools subsequently. In total, the young enterprising lawmaker will be donating 300 tables and chairs and desks to schools in his constituency.

The donation is part of a promise made when the vibrant legislator went round his constituency on a thank-you tour post December 2020 presidential and parliamentary polls.

In an interview with Akoma fm’s Kwame Afriyie, the member of parliament passionately lamented on the poor sate of the scool building coupled with lack of tables and chairs but couldn’t help than to come to their aid. He mentioned education is key on his priorities and will do everything in his power to help the constituency.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the head teacher, Mr. George Asante thanked the legislator for the kind gesture and wished him well in future endeavours.
