A Suspected Thief Lynched At Suhum

A suspected thief who is popularly known as Kwaku Atta has been lynched this dawn, Sunday, July 2, at Obour Tumpan in Suhum municipality of the Eastern region.

The deceased was allegedly killed by some residents in the for petty theft.

The Assembly member for Nyamekrom electoral area, hon. Enock Boahene who is an assembly from a different municipality, New Juaben South confirmed the incident on Afeema FM this morning.

According to the Assembly member he received a distress call about the incident at the early hours of Sunday.

He latter proceeded to the scene and found the lifeless body of the deceased stripped naked but covered with leaves.

Hon. Enock Boahene said, he quickly called the assembly member who’s electoral area the incident occured to inform the police to convey the body.

The lifeless body of Kwaku Atta was still at the scene at the time the assembly member was confirming the news at around 9:00am.
