38-Year-Old arrested for allegedly having carnal knowledge of daughters

The Kasoa Divisional Police Command has arrested a 38-year-old painter for allegedly raping his 18-year-old daughter at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The suspect, Emmanuel Mensah is reported to have started having sex with his daughter when she was twelve years old and threatened to kill her if she dares tells anybody about it.

He is also alleged to be having sex with his other younger daughter who is just eight years.

The Victim speaking in an interview said she was compelled to take action against his father as her mother who does not stay with them in the house couldn’t help her out of the situation when she reported the case to her.

The victim on Monday, June 12, 2023, boldly rushed to the Police Station to report the incident to the Kasoa Divisional Police Command.

Police then stormed the house of the suspect and arrested him.

An investigation has commenced and the suspect is expected to be arraigned before the Awutu Ofaakor Circuit Court soon
