Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed optimism that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will break the 8-year electoral cycle in the 2024 general elections.
He said the NPP government has worked hard.Addressing thousands of party faithfuls on a walk on Saturday, April 8 in Kwahu, he said “Let nobody deceive you, NPP government has worked hard. No government in the history of Ghana has constructed more roads than NPP government.
“No government has done more interchanges in the Fourth Republic than NPP. 5,411 classrooms, nobody in the history of the Fourth Republic.
“When we came there were only two astroturfs in the whole of Ghana, today it is over 80.
“No government, since independence, has done more railways than NPP government.”
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says it is possible for the NPP to break the eight year governance and rule for more years.
He made a case with infrastructure development efforts his government has put in place.
