Desmond Offei Nartey, a second-year student at Akwamuman SHS in the Asuogyaman District who passed away at the VRA Hospital in Akosombo after a short illness on campus has been laid to rest.
He was laid to rest on Tuesday, January 31 at his hometown, Agormanya, in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region.
His colleagues, the Headmaster, and some teachers joined the family and friends for a short funeral prayer at their residence at Agormanya before he was later laid to rest.
The incident has shocked many of his colleagues who are yet to get over his demise.
