One cigarette is going to be sold at 5 Ghana CEDI’s in Ghana. This increase in the price of cigarettes will be effective On Monday.
Cigarette was sold at 1.50ps then but from Monday it will be sold at 5 cedi. The Reason is due to the change in weather in the world and in the country, the weed crops are finding difficult to produce the certain amount of leafs needed for the production of cigarettes in the country. The people mostly effected by this is the people who smoke. Interviewing with those who take in the cigarette, the complain was now they won’t be able to smoke and also guy what they like and what they want since the price is too high for them. Their intentions is that, they could take in 4 cigarettes from the 5 Ghana cedis but now they can only take in 1. They explain to the media how they suffer to get money to take in the cigarette and it also build their energy for work.
