Assembly member of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti Region who is also a news reporter of Oyerepa Fm & TV Hon Kofi Adade has called on his fellow assembly members and traditional leaders to assist security personnels curb crime rate in the localities.
According to him, armed robbers have been worrying them in – between Oyoko Dadease off Sekyere Kumawu highway in his Electoral Area as there is a busy environment which always prevent police from arresting the robbers as they keep themselves in it and been exchanging bullets with the police when they go to the rescue of their victims.
He explained further that, the Effiduase Divisional police commander has advised him to clear the area so that, the security personnels can get way to arrest the culprit if they come again and he sees this advice as best way to lower crime in the cocalities.
He called on his fellow assembly members and traditional leaders to embrace the advice to keep their surroundings clear to lower crime rate.
