A total of 42 suspects were arrested at the just-ended Ashaiman To The Word Concert.
The Ghana Police Service has revealed it has taken into custody 42 suspects who thronged the annual music concert organized by multi-award-winning Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy.
The suspects were arrested for various offences.
The offences included attacking some of the fans with toy guns, cutlasses, knives, scissors and other offensive weapons at different locations towards the end of the concert.
According to the service, they retrieved items including 2 toy pistols, 10 mobile phones, 5 cutlasses, 5 jack knives, 3 pairs of scissors, 1 wig and a tablet.
The said suspects will be taken through the due process of the law.
On Saturday, September 4, 2022, Stonebwoy put together a spectacular event which saw several thousand of people in attendance.
Performers included Efya, Mugeez, Sista Afia, D Black, Mugeez, Yaw TOG, Kofi Jamar and many others.
