ALHAJI FUSEINI MUSAH DREDGES JAKARAYILI DAM IN TAMALE SOUTH CONSTITUENCY.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, the affable and action-oriented NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tamale South Constituency, Alhaji Fuseini Musah popularly known as Alhaji Fuzzy together with the Constituency Chairman, and his Executives were in Jakarayili to begin the dredging of the community dam.

This laudable intervention is part of the other dams in different communities earmarked to be dredged to ensure easy access to water for the people in these communities.

Indeed, the shortage of water faced by some of these communities has forced women to commute several miles all in search of water once the dam dries up during the dry season.

Quite worth noting, this dam served the good people of Jakarayili, parts of Kobilmahagu, and other nearby communities. The dam according to a resident of the Jakarayili has been an old dam for the people since it was first dredged in 1960.

At the short ceremony some Elders of the community, the Assemblymen from both Jakarayili and Kobilmahagu, and the residents of Jakarayili were present respectively.

The audacious NPP Parliamentary candidate, Alhaji Fuseini Musah in his remarks calls on the residents to give him their support to ensure a smooth dredging process and he also hinted at other plans to be carried out across the Constituency.

Additionally, the Constituency Chairman and the two Assemblymen also spoke highly of this timely response from the Parliamentary to safeguard the people from these water challenges they face particularly during this dry season.

Finally, the women represented at the short ceremony communicated their happiness, joy, and endless gratitude to Alhaji Fuseini Musah for coming to their aid with this dredging process of the dam and pledged to rally behind him to be a member of Parliament.
