A private legal practitioner, Lawyer Obiri Yeboah on Wednesday found it tough to alight from his car when he came to pick his nomination forms to contest the Subin constituency parliamentary seat on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Hundreds of people made up of traders commuters and the Subin businessmen community mobbed his car in a gusture to carry him shoulders high to the party’s office.
Speaking to the media after picking the forms, Lawyer Obiri Yeboah said ,the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon, Eugene Boakye Antwi has done his part and wants to come and show the constituents what he has offer the constituents.
He told the party executives that, he was going to present to the constituency a brand new bus to be used for party programes , events and activities.
The aspiring MP was accompanied to the premises by some high ranking constituency executives. They included Madam Angelina Frimpong constituency Treasure, Mr AKuamoah Boateng Secretary, Madam Ama Konadu Women Organizer, Lily Arkoh Assistant secretary, Subin constituency, Chairman Adusei among others.
Some enthusiastic party supporters and admirers present told journalist that they collectively pressed upon the astute lawyer to contest in the primaries and come and redeem them from leadership slavery which they have witnessed over the past years.
