W/R Minister celebrates Ghana’s 66 Aniversary Prade in ‘made in Tadi’ car

Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, during the 66th Independence celebrations in the twin City of Sekondi Takoradi, ditched his V8 and inspected the guard of honour and the parade in a made-in Takoradi car

The car locally built by a Takoradi-based auto mechanic known as Inventor 1, was made with local materials from the scratch.

It is unsure why the Regional Ministers rode in the car but some onlookers at the ceremony commended him and said his actions will surely give the inventor a push to using made in Ghana products.

The Western Region anniversary celebrations was marked at the popular Sekondi Gyendu Park.

It had in attendance school kids and personnel from selected security agencies in the region.
