2024 Election Will Be the Most Peaceful in Ghana’s History” – Hon. Kofi Amankwaah Manu Assures Ghanaians

In a strong affirmation of Ghana’s commitment to peace and stability, Hon. Kofi Amankwaah Manu, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency and Deputy Defense Minister, has confidently assured Ghanaians that the upcoming 2024 general election will be the most peaceful in the nation’s history. His reassuring remarks were made during a community engagement event titled “Let the Community Know,” held at Ahenema Kokoben, a prominent town within his constituency.

The event, which brought together members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and residents of Ahenema Kokoben, served as a platform for Hon. Kofi Amankwaah Manu to highlight the significant developmental strides achieved under his leadership. He spoke passionately about the substantial progress made in key areas such as infrastructure, health, and education. These achievements, he noted, were made possible through the collaborative efforts between his office and the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly, Hon. Prince Karikari.

In his address, Hon. Kofi Amankwaah Manu reassured the gathered crowd of the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a peaceful electoral process. He stated, “As the Deputy Defense Minister, I want to assure all Ghanaians that we are committed to ensuring that the 2024 elections will be the most peaceful our country has ever witnessed. We have put in place the necessary measures to safeguard the security and safety of all citizens before, during, and after the elections.”

Speaking to the media after the event, Hon. Kofi Amankwaah Manu reiterated his dedication to the ongoing development of the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency. He detailed several key projects that have been successfully completed under his tenure, including the construction of new roads, health facilities, and schools. These initiatives, he emphasized, have significantly improved the quality of life for residents, making the constituency a model of progress in the region.

The community engagement program also served as an interactive session, allowing residents to voice their concerns and provide feedback directly to their leaders. The MP assured the community that their voices are heard and that he remains committed to addressing their needs and aspirations.

In his remarks, Mr. Oduro Kyeremateng, constituency chairman for Atwima Kwanwoma , seized the opportunity to rally support for the NPP. He urged the constituents to extend their support to the party in the upcoming election, emphasizing the need for continuity in governance to sustain and build upon the progress made.

Echoing these sentiments, Hon. Prince Karikari, the DCE for Atwima Kwanwoma, lauded the NPP government’s achievements in the constituency. He pointed out the numerous developmental projects that have been undertaken, which he believes are a testament to the government’s commitment to improving the lives of the people. Hon. Karikari appealed to the constituents to grant the NPP another term in office, assuring them that this would allow the government to complete ongoing projects and initiate new ones to further enhance the constituency’s development.

The event concluded on a high note, with both the MP and the DCE expressing their optimism for the future. They reiterated their commitment to working tirelessly for the betterment of the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency and Ghana as a whole, urging the community to remain united and supportive of the government’s efforts. The peaceful atmosphere of the engagement underscored the MP’s promise that the 2024 elections would be a milestone in Ghana’s democratic journey.
