C/R: Farmer, 41, shoots three people over heated arguments, one dead

A Forty One(41) year old farmer has shot three people during misunderstanding.

The incident happened at Twifo Kyekyewere in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.

According to the report, David Tsiditse(41), a Peasant Farmer shot the three people(galamseyers) while on a Canoe on the Pra River.

One fell into the River after the gunshot and his body has not been found as at the time of filing this report.

The other two who sustained various degrees of gun shot injuries have been rushed to Twifo Praso District Hospital for medical treatment.

Narrating the incident to newsmen, Uncle to the yet to be found body, Mr. Patrick Akumi said, the suspect, David Tsiditse sold his land to the three(Galamseyers) for their galamsey activities along the Pra River at Twifo Kyekyewere.

Few days later the suspect accused the buyers of the land that, they have eaten into a different land which wasn’t part of the agreement.

This generated argument between the suspect and the three men in the bush.

The suspect who at the time of the quarrel had gun (Pistol) on him pulled it out and gave a warning shots to intimidate the three men but the guys managed to overpower him and snatch the gun from him.

Mr. David Tsiditse (suspect) unhappy about the situation went home and took another gun.

He returned to the site and spotted the three on a Canoe crossing River Pra.

He shot at them on the River. The one who received the bullets directly fell into the River and had since not been found.

The suspect took to his heels after the heinous act.

Police have commenced investigation into the unfortunate incident.
