The Ghana Police Service and the Bank of Ghana (BoG) have arrested about five men who have been engaging in illegal foreign money exchange. When you watch the video carefully, you can see that these men have rented some shops at a busy place in Accra and they are doing this illegal business there.
The name of their shop is Shazack Barbering Salon. As a result of this, you might think that they are doing a barbering job inside the shop meanwhile they are doing illegal foreign exchange money business there. When you get into the shop, you can see that there is a barbering shop inside alright but there are other rooms in this shop where they do their illegal business.
The guys didn’t know that the police has got a hint that they are coming to search their shop, they would have hidden the evidence. One of the guys wanted to stop the police from doing their job but the police were heavily armed and there was nothing he can do. He was overheard in the video saying, “Chale, call master”. And he also stood at the entrance of the door trying to prevent the policemen but they shouted at him and pushed him away.
Some Ghanaians after coming across this video said that the police have done well by arresting these criminals.
