Petty traders selling along the road at the “Masom Masom” Daily market in the Central Business District (CBD) of Sunyani are insisting until the city authorities provide their with a spacious place, there is no way they will move from the street.
The city authorities have warned the traders to relocate to the market or face forceful ejection, as part of measures to decongest the market area to facilitate easy movements of people and vehicles.
But the aggrieved traders who spoke to our correspondent Akua Nyarko Abronoma at the CBD said there was no space inside the market to sell their stuffs.
They therefore called on the Sunyani Municipal Assembly to provide spacious place for them to do their trade to enable them to sustain in business to fend for their families.
