My dear students, brothers and sisters who’ve just completed Senior High School,
Congratulations on this milestone! Completing SHS is a significant achievement, but I want to emphasize – it’s not the end of the road; it’s a crucial stepping stone. Tertiary education is on the horizon, and while awaiting your WASSCE results, you’ve got a valuable chance to be right where you are needed – at home.
Now’s not the time for distractions like romantic entanglements, my young friends. This period calls for humility and helpfulness; lend a hand to your parents in whatever they’re doing. Show appreciation and support. Rather than wandering or chasing after things that won’t serve your long-term goals, be responsible and contribute meaningfully at home.
Make the most of this time; it’s an opportunity to grow, acquire new skills, and build strong character. Your bright future is shaped by the choices you make today. Stay focused, remain humble, and keep striving forward.
